 BERNINI AND BORROMINI VS. THE XVI CENTURYIt's a3 hours tour by foot.
The tour passes through Piazza di Spagna, Palazzo di Propaganda Fide, Accademia di San Luca, (the "Academy of Saint Luke") and Piazza Navona.
The tour covers sculptures and architecture of two artistic and contrasting personalities, contrasting as their own origins. Different were also the materials they used: Bernini utilized polychromatic marble, rich and redundant, while Borromini utilized bricks, plaster and fantasy. |
